The Montessori League of Asia (MLA)
The Montessori League of Asia (MLA) serves as the Asian chapter of the International Montessori League (IML). MLA is a collaborative regional body dedicated to strengthening and expanding authentic Montessori education throughout Asia. As a unifying platform, MLA brings together educators, Montessori schools, training centres, and organizations committed to nurturing the child through scientifically grounded and culturally responsive Montessori principles.
Rooted in the belief that shared knowledge elevates collective impact, MLA fosters meaningful collaboration across borders—supporting dialogue, resource-sharing, and professional growth among Montessori communities in diverse Asian contexts.
Through our network of affiliated institutions and individual members, MLA champions high-quality Montessori standards while embracing the unique cultural heritage of each region. Together, we work to enrich Montessori practice, empower educators, and create environments where children across Asia can learn, grow, and thrive.
